Chynadieve-Mukacheve-Berehove
This
excursion is one of the longest one-day tours which pass through the picturesque
mountains of Lviv and Transcarpathian regions. The journey gives an idea
of the rich nature and culture of the Carpathians. We will see castles,
palaces, springs with thermal waters, where you can even bath.
The
modern highway, which once used to be an ancient Salt Way, leads us to
the Carpathians. Having passed the Veretsk mountain pass with the elevation
of 841 meters we make our first stop in sanatorium “Carpathians”. The
real adornment of this place is the former Shernborn hunting palace (built
in1890), which looks like an illustration to the works by Duma. In Chynadieve
we make one more stop next to the medieval castle (XIV c.). Next we visit
an ancient castle “Palanok” (XIII c.) which astonishes visitors with its
grandeur.
The
next stop of our route is thermal waters of the region of Berehove. One
of the cultural peculiarities of the region is that the majority of the
local population is Hungarians. Here we will visit one of the two most
popular recreational centers, which will leave an unforgettable experience
for a long time. If you wish, we may have a mealtime in the restaurant
with exquisite and piquant Hungarian cuisine. In the evening we, relaxed
and joyful, turn back to Lviv.
